Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how My Art Taste (myarttaste.com) handles information when you use our website and our related Pinterest account (@myarttaste). Last updated: October 2, 2026.
Who we are
My Art Taste operates the website at myarttaste.com. If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or how information is handled, contact us at lks5027@gmail.com.
Taste and saved works
My Art Taste stores your taste profile, reactions, viewed works, and saved works in local browser storage on this device.
My Art Taste does not require an account and does not upload this local taste profile to a My Art Taste user database in the current launch version.
Analytics and cookies
My Art Taste uses Google Analytics 4 on the public production site to understand page usage and product interactions such as artwork views, saves, likes, skips, sharing, and completion of the Taste Starter.
Analytics events do not include the locally stored taste profile itself. Event payloads are limited to product usage context such as artwork identifiers, interaction type, and page path. Google may process browser, device, and network information according to its own analytics policies.
Google Analytics may use cookies or similar technologies to distinguish visits and measure site performance. You can limit cookies through your browser settings, although doing so may affect some site features. You can also use Google’s opt-out browser add-on to stop Google Analytics from collecting data about your visits.
Pinterest API use
We operate a Pinterest business account (@myarttaste) to share artwork images and links to myarttaste.com.
My Art Taste uses the Pinterest API only to publish artwork Pins to our own Pinterest business account and to retrieve analytics for our own account and Pins. We do not use the Pinterest API to collect personal information from other Pinterest users.
Information sharing
We do not sell personal information. Information may be processed by service providers such as Google Analytics and Pinterest only as needed to provide the functions described above, or disclosed when required by law.
Your rights and controls
You can export or clear the local My Art Taste profile from Settings. Clearing browser storage may also remove this profile.
You may contact us to ask about information associated with you or to request correction or deletion where applicable. Because the current version does not require an account, we may not be able to identify locally stored browser data.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when our services or legal obligations change. The latest version will always be published on this page.
